1. Temperature & Humidity Control. The vault temperature is controlled 24-hours per day between 68 and 72 degrees Fahrenheit.
   
   
2. Automatic Inergen Fire Control System. The entire vault is protected by an Inergen fire suppression system, designed to discharge in the event of smoke or heat detection.
   
   
3. Security. The Document Bank's 7-r rated vault is under strict combination/access control that eliminates unauthorized access.
   
   
4. Emergency Line to Police & Fire. The facility is equipped with perimeter and internal detection equipment that is specifically designed to monitor all attempted intrusions. The information from the detection equipment is transmitted to an off-site monitoring service. In addition, we have a five-minute response time from the local fire and police departments.
   
   
5. Emergency Access. Emergency after-hours access to files may be obtained by our clients who phone a specified phone number that is staffed 24-hours a day. Data will be available for delivery within two hours!
   
   
6. Wall and Fixtures. The poured concrete masonry walls in the vault are reinforced with steel rods/mesh to shield the vault from radar signals from external sources. In addition, the fluorescent fixtures in the vault are high enough so the fields generated by their ballast do not demagnetize tapes or disks.
   
   
7. Computerized Inventory System. The Document Bank provides a computerized tracking/inventory system. This system can easily track in/out activity, audit inventory accurately, and trigger reminders of return dates, tape cleaning, media destruction and other requirements.
